This month, you could win a three-course dinner at the Petwood Hotel in Lincolnshire, which was the home of the RAF 617 ‘Dambusters’ Squadron during the Second World War.

The Petwood is very close to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Visitor Centre, so you could even combine the prize with a visit to see the BBMF’s aircraft. 

Don’t forget that if you are a member of the RAF Memorial Flight Club, you can claim a free tour of the aircraft hangar whenever you visit by showing your membership card. Please make sure you check the opening times on the BBMF Visitor Centre’s website before visiting.

How to enter the ballot

All current members of the RAF Memorial Flight Club have been automatically entered into this month’s ballot. If you’re not already a member, please join the Club by 31st October 2018. 

The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club Autumn Journal for 2018 has now been printed and will be distributed exclusively to Club members, free of charge, in the next couple of weeks. The BBMF Autumn Journal is NOT on sale to the general public. If you are not a member, join the Club today to receive your free copy and all of the twice-yearly BBMF magazines, as well as the monthly e-newsletters with exclusive content for Club members.

Once again the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club has provided some very practical and direct support to the BBMF in recent weeks by funding a number of projects for the Flight. These were all items that would not be funded by the Ministry of Defence, which will make the work of the Flight easier and improve the appearance of the BBMF building and its surrounds for the very many people, including VIPs, who visit the Flight via the RAF Station at Coningsby every year.
