Club ballot prizes and winners October to December 2025
All members of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club are automatically entered into our monthly prize draws. There have been some special prizes won by Club members from October to December 2025. These were the ballot prizes and the lucky Club members who won them.
October: Flight Art Lancaster print
The October ballot prize was a stunning print of the Lancaster, courtesy of our friends at Flight Art. The photo was taken on the evening of 16th May 2023 during a sortie in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Operation Chastise – more commonly known as the “Dams Raid” – in remembrance of those who lost their lives on that daring mission. BBMF Lancaster PA474 is shown turning towards East Kirkby airfield just after a rain shower passed through the area and as the sun was setting.
This print was kindly donated to the Club by our friends at Flight Art.
Winner: Ange Rose from Nottinghamshire
November: Exclusive items from the BBMF End of Season dinner
At the end of the flying season the BBMF holds an invitation-only End of Season Guest Night (EOSGN) dinner. The November prize gave a Club member the rare opportunity to own various items from the 2025 event, most of which were produced exclusively for that night. The prize included: an event programme, two coasters featuring the BBMF EOSGN title, date and logo, four hanging aircraft decorations, two Mark Long keyrings and a BBMF patch.
Winner: Clive Tyrrell from Wiltshire
December: Limited edition “Hurricane Force” jigsaw
The December prize was a beautiful, limited-edition “Hurricane Force” classic wooden jigsaw puzzle featuring the artwork of Nicolas Trudgian – one of the world’s leading military artists – with a striking depiction of the legendary Hawker Hurricanes taking off from the historic RAF Tangmere airfield. The puzzle comes complete with an individually signed artist letter, in which he shares the inspiration behind Hurricane Force and the stories that brought it to life, and a certificate of authenticity. The jigsaw has 250 pieces and also features some unusually shaped pieces, including a 'V for Victory' sign as the final piece.
Many thanks to Club member Robert James Smith for kindly donating this prize.
Winner: Andrew Cole from Cambridgeshire
