This month, one lucky club member will win a Haynes Manual for the Spitfire. The book would make a great addition to anyone's BBMF collection.

This brilliant fact-packed Haynes Manual will give you a great perspective on what it takes to operate and restore one of these amazing aircraft. The book would usually cost £22.99 to buy. We will randomly select two winners who will receive one book each.

How to enter the ballot

All current members of the RAF Memorial Flight Club have been automatically entered into this month’s ballot.

If you’re not currently a member, please join the Club or renew your Club membership before 30th September 2025 to stand a chance of winning the prize. As well as being entered into this month’s prize draw, you’ll also receive a Club membership pack. Members can also claim free aircraft hangar tours at the BBMF Visitor Centre, they will receive our Club magazines, published twice a year, and can register to receive our monthly e-newsletters with content exclusive to Club members.

The legendary Spitfire has received the world-renowned Haynes Manual treatment with the full co-operation and authorisation of the Royal Air Force, providing a wonderful insight into the engineering and construction of the famous aircraft. The book provides a unique insight into what it takes to own, restore, and operate a Spitfire. It also provides a glimpse into the engineering and construction of this remarkable aeroplane.
