In the Club’s September newsletter we offered members the opportunity to tell the brief stories of any of their relatives who served with the RAF during the Second World War, so that they are remembered. One of the first to respond was Club member Helen Lansdown, who has provided us with the story of her father, Warrant Officer Eric Lansdowne. Best of all, Eric is still with us and he celebrated his 100th birthday on 20th September.

All members of the RAF Memorial Flight Official Club are automatically entered into our monthly prize ballots to win some special prizes. These were the ballot prizes for the months of July to September 2022 and the lucky Club members who won them.

The RAF Memorial Flight Official Club 2022 Autumn Journal magazine will be hitting Club members door mats soon. Exclusively for Official Club members and not on sale to the general public, the Autumn Journal is 76 pages packed full of ‘behind the scenes’ insights into the BBMF and its activities this year, with stunning photographs and also with articles offering an historical perspective in keeping with the BBMF’s motto ‘Lest we forget’.
