About the prize
The Severn Valley Railway is offering two ‘one-day rover’ tickets to its ‘Step Back to the 1940s’ event on Sunday 30th June. The tickets allow unlimited travel to see the range of attractions all along the line during the day, plus free entry to The Engine House Visitor Centre.
Step Back to the 1940s Weekends – 29th-30th June and 6th-7th July
The Severn Valley Railway is turning the clocks back with its light-hearted tribute to 40s Britain. Get dressed-up and experience a wealth of attractions all along the line, including breath-taking battle, thrilling fire-fighting demonstrations, live music, 40s wedding, ARP Post, vintage market, evacuation trains and much more. This year features a range of attractions and exhibits tying-in with D-Day 75, from the 1940s Rest Centre to the Royal Army Medical Corps Advanced Dressing Station. Evening Big Band Concerts take place on both Saturdays (tickets sold separately).
